Honey Nut Bliss Balls

Ingredients

1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin spice
pinch of salt
2 tbsp almond cashew butter
2 tbsp honey

Method

  1. In a food processor, blend oats, cinnamon and salt until oats are the size of coarse sand.
  2. Add almond cashew butter and honey, and pulse until mixture comes together.
  3. Roll mixture into balls.
  4. Place in the fridge to firm up and allow flavours to develop. For best results, refrigerate overnight.

Notes:

  1. Blend the oats to your prefered texture. You may like blending the oats only a bit and having a chunkier texture to the balls, or you may want the oats completely blended for a smooth, doughy texture.
  2. If mixture isn’t sticky enough to roll into balls, add a touch of honey, almond cashew butter, or water and blend until mixture can be rolled without crumbling.
  3. Bliss balls can also be placed in the freezer, then put into you lunch bag in the morning for the perfect snack at work or school.
