Ingredients
1 medium banana, frozen
1 cup mango, frozen
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Method
- Add the banana and mango to a food processor or high speed blender.
- Blend until the fruit is broken up to the texture of course sand. You may need to stop the food processor/blender and scrape down the sides a few times to do this.
- Add the lemon juice.
- Blend until the everything comes together into a cream, whipped ice cream texture. Again, you may need to scrape the sides of your food processor/blender down to get to this point.
Notes:
- As this recipe does freeze solid (not scoopable like ice cream), it is best served immediately or frozen in popsicle molds to be enjoyed later.
- This recipe is amazing topped with slivered almonds and honey and enjoyed as an instagramable nice cream bowl!
