Banana Pecan Smoothie

Ingredients

1 cup homemade cashew milk
1 medium to large organic banana, frozen
1/3 cup raw pecans
1/4 tsp cinnamon
pinch salt

Method

  1. Add all ingredients into a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.

Notes:

  1. If you do not have homemade cashew milk, store bought nut milk works perfectly (I love the Almond Breeze original, unsweetened almond milk in this recipe).
  2. I like to freeze my bananas whole in a freezer bag when they reach the perfect ripeness, so I never have rotten bananas to deal with.
  3. If you can only find small organic bananas to freeze, use 2 to achieve the same consistency.
  4. For a runnier smoothie, add more cashew milk.
